Grand Tetons

Not the largest carving to date by width/height, but definitely by thickness. This is a custom ordered section of the Grand Teton mountain range carved into walnut. It was thick enough where I felt like a roughing pass was the right call. It added more time to the project, but potentially saved a real headache if something went wrong due to the cut depth exceeding the capability of the tapered ballnose or a collision with the uncut portions of the slab.
