Something I’ve enjoyed doing when my own creativity isn’t high, but I really want to do some intarsia, is trying to reproduce classic paintings. This one is The Scream (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Scream). On this particular piece, the original artist did a number of versions across multiple years. I used both the color and the lithograph versions from 1895 as the reference.
I’m not sure why I didn’t take many “in progress” photos of this one. I think it just came together quicker than I expected.
