Flush Cut Cheese Cutter

I like making things, but I also like solving problems (even if they’re maybe not all that problematic). The idea of the cheese slicer is great, but the main complaint I hear is how annoying it is to clean all the stinky cheese out of the groove. This was my first attempt at getting rid of the groove. The pivot arm still needs a place to be, so that’s why it has a raised back. I would not recommend carving it the way I did. Works great, but there are plenty of bad stories out there with those shaping/carving discs at the center. As I got to looking at it, I decided that if it was going to have a hump in it anyway, maybe it could be more interesting, and that’s how the Peaks of Otter Cheese Slicer and Serving Board came to be.
