Over the holiday my uncle was telling me some of the history of the barcode, which got me to thinking about cutting boards that look like barcodes. Easy enough, but the real question is can you make them with thicknesses precise enough that they will scan? The answer is yes (with the help of a thin strip jig and a drum sander).
