Cutting Board – End Grain Poplar

Poplar isn’t usually chosen for cutting boards, but this one was designed more as a display piece. The process to get that design begins with finding lumber that has a distinct line of heartwood running down one edge. Lots of cuts and twists later, and you end up with this.
