This large intarsia owl was made as a wall hanging. Woods include padauk, walnut, maple, mahogany, cherry, ebony, zebrawood, red cedar, and purpleheart. This is one of the first intarsia pieces that I used Odie’s Oil to finish. Lots of nooks and crannies to try to get that into taught me that I’ll want to start finishing the pieces before the glue-up.
